I don't think I mentioned this is an entry, but a few days ago Juliet learned a new skill: how to turn on and off a ceiling light by pulling on its chain. Obviously she needs someone to hold her in position; I've never seen an eight-month-old tall enough to reach that high. But she will grab the chain, first with one hand, then with the other, and pull. The first time she made the light go on she cracked up. The light instantly became one of her favorite toys. Now she latches on and yanks, and yanks, and yanks. One of these days that chain is going to break. |
