The ring will arrive in Rochester tomorrow. I wasn't sure what to do about a proposal. I wanted it to be something special; something that she would remember for the rest of her life (not that she would forget any sort of proposal; I think that that is something that pretty much sticks with you no matter what). We were heading up to Rochester that evening so that I could go into the radio staion with Chuck (he's the morning DJ on Mix 100.5 in Rochester). I was hoping to get in some commcercial voice overs. Anyway, I was suddenly struck with an idea. I'm going to be sitting in front of one of the most massive propoganda machines on the planet; a microphone connected to thousands of listeners. Hmmmm... I called Chuck.
That evening we headed up to Rochester. We arrived just after midnight. I went pretty much straight to bed. 3:30 AM comes awfully early, and tomorrow will be a busy day. Hannah stayed up until I got up. Great, she's going to bed at 4:00 AM. |
