Get Aboard, Get Away |

Today Hannah's mother and Aunt Nina came up to watch the kids while Hannah and I escaped for a couple of hours. We tried to feed Sonja as much as possible leading up to our departure. We also scheduled the outing around Juliet's naptime to make the sitting simpler.
Our trip was a not-so-exciting outing, a simple trip to the grocery, if you can call $300 simple. We tossed around the idea of going to munch (Hannah loves her munching) but I didn't think we had time. Instead we did the drive-through thing at Dairy Queen (best fast food cheeseburger in the business). This turned out to be the right decision because Sonja awoke just before we walked in. I unload the groceries while Hannah went into feeding mode.
The nighttime routine got a bit easier tonight. Instead of being up from 10:00 until 3:00 she went down with a mere 45 minutes of bobbin' after her 10:00. That's not easier but much better. To coin a phrase, baby steps.
