Today Hannah took Julie to her boss', the Malmud's, for a visit. During said visit child psychologist Dr. Elsa Malmud diagnosed Julie as "very bright". She focuses, tracks, responds to sounds, and can put her thumb in her mouth (not that we approve of such behavior). Of course we already knew she was genius material.
We have been giving Julie plenty of tummy time in recent days. She can pick up her head while pulling her knees up to her body. She also does deep knee bends when standing in my lap (with some help of course). Soon she will be doing gymnastics all over the house. My mother said that I was very easy to care for as an infant, but as soon as I got mobile all hell broke loose. From the looks of it it would seem that we are in for a wild ride. It's nice to see that my mother got her wish (nice for her anyway). |
