Today we were to go down to my parents' house for the weekend. However I had a bout with the dryer and Hannah had a bout with a couple of lobster rolls, the results of these were my having a spained toe (big, purple, painful) and Hannah spent the night with the toilet. Needless to say neither of us was in any condition to be driving two hours down there. We felt really bad because my 'rents were all excited and it was surely a serious let-down that we bailed on them.
We spent the day resting for the most part. It was rather amusing (in a sick, perverted sort of way) trying to care for Finster. Hannah was running to the bathroom every so often and I hobbled around the house chasing an almost-fourteen-month-old who gets a real kick out of chase games. Our goal for the day was to get into good enough condition to make it to the 'rents' place tomorrow. |
