No Bottle From You
Julie has definitely decided that bottles are not the thing for her. Rachel was going to take the evening feeding but could not get her to take the bottle (and she's the expert). I tried for about 45 minutes to get her to take it and she just screamed in my arms. Bobbin' didn't work. She didn't need a change. Gas drops didn't work. I was at a loss. When I asked Hannah if she could feed her just so we could get her to bed she freaked on me. She blamed me for Julie's not wanting a bottle. I don't know how that became my fault but apparently I am to blame regardless. As if Julie's screaming wasn't enough, now I was being screamed at from both sides. So, I sat on the couch for another half an hour or so with Julie screaming at the top of her lungs until she finally took the bottle. I guess she just got tired of the fight (I was tired of it an hour before). Afterward she was relatively easy to put down. She didn't stay down for long though. This time Hannah took her. When she went into our room (we were sharing the guest room with baby) Julie saw Hannah and gave her a look of recognition and smiled widely. This was the first time that she seemed to really recognize someone and was really happy to see her. It made Hannah feel really good inside. Hannah hung out and read to her for a while then put her to bed.
