On The Road, Again
Once again we loaded up the auto and headed to Rochester for a Mandarano family gathering over the Memorial Day weekend. Frank, Jen & Kyle moved up there a couple of weeks ago, so with the in-laws and us the gang's mostly here (sans Ricky).

The ride up was mostly uneventful. We stopped near Ithica (OK, 30 miles away but the exit is labeled Ithica) for a snack. We ate fast food while Juliet ate food fast. A couple of hours later we bailed from I90 for the last segment of the journey. Juliet exploded. Apparently four and a half hours in the car is the limit. For the last 20 minutes she let us know, in no uncertain terms, that the ride was over, or rather that is should be over and if it didn't end soon we would be miserable. We were.

Once at our detination all was well. Juliet got to stretch, hang with the cousins, and soak up the adoration of the adult members of the family.

Despite being on the road, bed time went in a relatively normal fashion. About ten or fifteen minutes of bobbin' got her calmed down and I put her to bed, awake mind you, around 8:45.
