Hangin' With Finster
Hannah had a hair appointment today. I left work a smidge early to watch Finster while Hannah was otherwise occupied.

When I arrived home Hannah was finishing up some chores before leaving. Julie seemed to smile and reocgnize me when she saw me. I picked her up and "played" with her for a bit. She was in a good mood. She was smiling and borderline giggling as I made goofy faces at her. She's so cute.

Hannah took off shortly. Julie was losing intrerest in our little game. I tried to set her up for some floor time, nope. I tried Baby Mozart, nope. Finally I put her in her swing just for a minute and she started to get quiet. I let her go for a bit and she went to sleep. Well, that was easy.

A couple of hours later she awakened. While she was out I had covertly prepared her bottle so when she woke up I would be all ready to go. I gathered her up and plopped myself on the couch. The feeding went very well. That new bottle we picked up really makes a difference.

After her feeding I once again tried to get in some floor time. She was complacent for about ten seconds. During that ten seconds I tried to read that Baby Faces book with her again. I swear, that thing creeps her out as much as it creeps me out. Anyway, that was not to be. I set her up for Baby Mozart and that did the trick. She we AOK until Hannah returned shortly thereafter.

Julie started to fuss shortly after Hannah arrived home. We figured it would be good to top her off so that's what we tried. Julie had little interest in that, but enjoyed hanging with Mom for a bit. Hannah wanted to take a shower so I took the babe for some pre-bed bobbin'. It was a little shaky at first but after about fifteen minutes she was out cold. I put her to bed and proceeded to fall asleep on the couch.
