Julie's two teeth are now totally uncovered. That is not to say that they are fully in, but the tops are completely visible. I think that this experience is having an impact on Julie's attitude. She is generally much crankier than she usually is. She seems to be more needy as well, requiring that we hold her more than we usually do. She still goes to bed at the usual time and she still usually sleeps through the night. This night she awoke at 3:00 AM, but that was the first time in weeks that that has happened.
Julie's motor skills are moving right along. She grabs and holds things, generally so that she can chew on them. Our friend Karen got her this activity octopuss (OK, I don't know how else to describe it) and Julie dearly loves it. I think that this can qualify as her first toy. At least this is the first one that she "plays" with anyway. |
