All Aglow
Today I had to drive down to Mom-mom & Pop-pop's place to pick up Miss Finster. When I walked in the door she was there on the floor in front of the baseball game. She looked over at me and beemed with glee. Her little smile is just so cute how can you not be touched by such a display? Usually she just looks at me with this "oh, hi" look on her face then goes back to whatever she was doing at the time. Maybe it has to do with geography. That is the typical reaction when I return home and she's there waiting for me. Maybe rescuing her from strange surroundings is something worth smiling over. Anyway, we had a relatively pleasant drive home (Blue Route at rush hour). Julie digs the TT. I don't know if it's the car or the fact that she can see me because I'm right next to her (front seat; she won't fit in back), but unlike when in Hannah's car she doesn't fuss every time you stop at a light or are not going highway speeds. She was awake most of the ride but napped abit toward the end.

We got home and I put her in her swing. She was still a bit dazed from the napping. I figured she was ready to eat so I prepped pears, cereal, and milk. She was getting cranky during the re-warming process so I set her all up in her highchair. That calmed her down. She was still in a good mood giving me plenty of smiles and giggles. She's such a goof. Any she ate well although she didn't seem too excited about it. She finished all of her solids and after a quick cleanup drank all of her milk.

Lately, at this point, she has been ready for a nap. But this day she was still smiling and happy. We hung out and watched some Stargate, Baby Beethoven, and wrote some code for the web site. She gave me advice on how to manage the addition and removal of unnecessary template items from an ASP.NET user control. Who knew that the ASP.NET engine would still try to add the control to the parent collection at render time eventhough it had been removed from the child collection at load time? Another fine product of the Microsoft Corporation.

Hannah was late getting home from work. As final feeding and bed time aproached Juliet went into "hold me dammit" mode. I did so for an hour or so before Hannah arrived home. After some Mommy tmie and the final feeding I put her down to sleep. She went right away. I think she was very tired. Anyway she slept through the night again. I'm happy her old sleeping habits still seem to be safely behind her.
