Cutting Edges
Today marks a third in Juliet's life. Her third tooth to be specific. It came kinda as a surprise. We were waiting to check Hannah's car into the body shop (her boss threw a body check at it with her car; Hannah's car didn't respond well) when Hannah felt her gums for some reason of which I am unaware.

She exclaimed "Omigod, she cut another tooth!"

I reached into her mounth to check it out and Juliet demonstrated it for me.

I exclaimed "OUCH!".

Finster kinda cowered back with a distressed look on her face. I made some goofy crack and face and she smiled right away. I think she thought I was mad (does she get that concept at this point?). I wasn't but it really hurt. She has three teeth and knows how to use them. Approach with caution.

Juliet cut her first teeth at about three months old, so it has been about four months since. I was starting to wonder if she was going to go through life with just two. Apparently this will not be the case. With tops and bottoms she should be ready for chewables right?

Oh, one more thing. A day or two ago there was a first for me. I "brushed" Julie's teeth. One uses this little rubber finger cover brush thingy and some Apple & Bananna goo and splooge her teeth and gums with it. Like most hygene activites Juliet finds the experience a bit strange but she handles it well.

That same day she made a real mess of me during bath time. She splashes pretty much non-stop from when you put her into the water until you pull her out. We should just toss her in the bath tub and close the shower doors. After about ten minutes on the splash cycle she should be ready to go.
